How is Kale different from Tableau or Power BI? +
Those are visualisation tools: they show you data you already have somewhere else. Kale is a data platform built around its own warehouse. It stores your data, ingests it from your sources, and handles the pipeline end to end. Charts are the last step, not the whole product.
Do I need an AI agent to use Kale? +
Yes. We believe agents are the new interface to software, and the main way work will actually get done. If your company is not set up with agents yet, book a call and we will help you get there.
How is Kale different from Snowflake or BigQuery? +
A warehouse gives you two things at the core: storage and compute. Kale is built on DuckDB, an open engine, instead of proprietary ones. The bigger difference is everything around the core: with Snowflake or BigQuery, building the rest of the platform is on you. Kale does it for you.
How is Kale different from MotherDuck? +
Both are built on DuckDB. MotherDuck is a drop-in replacement for traditional warehouses, more affordable, but still a technical tool: setting it up is data engineering work. Kale flips that. Analytics that feel seamless, from day one.
